Three Lakes Academy is once again searching for a third grade teacher after the new hire that was expected to start in December changed his mind. The candidate, who is finishing college at this time, said he did not feel prepared to teach. Principal Rachel Bommarito said the news was very disappointing.
“We hope to find the missing piece to complete our team. Three Lakes Academy is such a special school, and the staff is a huge part of what makes it so outstanding,” Bommarito said.
The charter school, based in Curtis, is ideally hoping to hire an experienced full-time certified teacher for the grade. Securing a long-term substitute teacher is another potential solution. For more information, contact the school at (906) 586-6631.
