Looking for a new book to read, but don’t know where to start? The Tahquamenon Area Library staff has created rotating displays to make finding new reading material even easier.
This month’s featured displays include:
-Loren D. Estleman novels—Various titles (Michigan author).
-Steampunk novels—The “steampunk” Genre is characterized by a mind-boggling mashup of future and past.
-Legends and classics—Legendary and Classical works in Graphic Novel format.
-Ellen Airgood Novels—Various titles (Michigan author).
-Mystery books —These titles are wrapped-up in the display and you don’t know what you have until you take it home and unwrap-it to read.
–New York Times Best Sellers—Various Novels from the NYT Best Sellers List.
-Staff Picks—Recent reads recommended for you by library staff.
-Best-selling books of all time.
We can always use more suggestions from our patrons. If you read one of our books and really liked it, please let staff know. We will put the book on display. This is completely anonymous, and your name will not be placed alongside the book.
Be sure to check back each month for new displays and new material to read. On another note, we have a lively folk music performance by Mr. Troy Graham for all ages coming to the library from 5 – 7 p.m. on October 3 at the library. Hope to see you all there. Take care and keep reading!
