Gregory J. Schultz

Gregory J. Schultz, 66, of McMillan, died Saturday July 2, 2022 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.
Born November 6, 1955 in Flint, Michigan, son of Harold and Pauline (MacDonald) Schultz, Gregory was a 1974 graduate of Lapeer High School in Lapeer, Michigan.
On May 21, 1976, Gregory married the former Deborah Schultz in Lapeer, Michigan. Gregory was employed in Corrections/Court System sector with the Michigan Department of Corrections for several years until his retirement.
A resident of McMillan since 1978, Gregory enjoyed deer and coyote hunting, traveling, working on his tractors, babysitting his grandkids and helping friends and family.
Gregory is preceded in death by his father Harold “Bud” Schultz and his wife Deborah Schultz.
Survivors include his sons Daniel (Danica) Schultz of Skandia, Michigan and Andrew Schultz of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren Gisela, Ulrich, Kalina and Evelynn; mother Pauline “Polly” (Gordon) VonSteenburg of Lapeer; siblings Tina (Bill) Krug of Hastings, Michigan, Patricia (Larry) Travis of Lapeer, Michigan, Cindy (Doug) Hunt of Whitelake, Michigan, Christina (Dennis) Baldridge of Lapeer and Cheryl Schultz of Davison, Michigan.
A gathering of family and friends will take place in the summer of 2022.
